Tesco Fermoy is located in the heritage town of Fermoy, County Cork, on a revitalized brownfield site that once housed the old mill of J. Barry and Sons. Construction began in October 2024, and the store is set to open in the summer of 2025. The project features natural stone cladding to connect with the town’s architectural style and preserves elements of the site’s historical signage. The mixed-use development includes convenience home shopping, food and beverage options, and ancillary retail units. To enhance biodiversity and create a welcoming space for the local community, the development is surrounded by a thoughtful combination of hard and soft landscaping.
